Question gourds

Somehow a gourd seed or two got into the garden, and now we have millions!
They are those green ones with the orange necks, that get somewhat bumpy as they get bigger.

Are they useful? Otherwise we'll just feed them to the sheep.

could ya take a pic? I can't get the image in my mind of a bumpy one. If you can't use it for crafts then how about halloween decorations?

See if there is anyone around you that paints them. You may be able to sell them. I have grown gourds to sell to local crafters. Maybe even put them on craigslist and see what happens.

Our pig ate a couple hundred last year. We threw them into the cooked grain mix, and she really liked them.
Do you break them up for the sheep?

What ever you do get all of them. They will be back next year with a vengeance.
