Fun at the auction!
I went to an industrial auction yesterday, and picked up 3 important pieces needed to build our home, and get the homestead started. First, I got a Honda generator in like-new condition. MSRP is over $3,000, but I paid 1/10 of that! It started and ran on the first pull, and the genny is putting out like it should. It doesn't look like it was ever run. Next, I got a nice little Emglo wheelbarrow type air compressor to run my air tools. It works like a champ, too. Finally, I took a chance on a Stihl MS 360 chainsaw. It didn't look too bad, and the compression felt good. I got it home, and it started and ran on the second pull. It runs perfect- all I need is a fresh chain. Even the bar is decent. I have just about every other tool I need to build a house and barn, so these will go a long way towards our ultimate goal. Since we live in hurricane country now, and will be moving to ice storm country, the generator is a good thing to have. I love it when a plan comes together!
