Fighting capillary effect on my roof.....

My gazebo looks like it was roofed correctly. However, it seems that the shingles are not hanging over as much as they should. I have a couple of places where the water drips slightly such as morning dew and draws it up to the wood panel underneath. I plan on using some type of clear roof patch to stop it.......Have any of you dealt with the same...by the way, the slope is low which compounds the problem.....

You need to install a drip edge. Here is how.

It has one. I guess I need to use some caulk in

the bad places.

Maybe a larger drip edge or put a backing behind it so that the water hangs out further before dropping.
