Teeter Hangup - or Gravity Inversion Table

Has anyone or does anyone currently use one of these inversion tables/seats?? I have a lot of back problems and it seems to be a possible solution to making my back relax and feel better - either that or complete paralysis from hanging upside down. HMMMM

I've had an inversion table for quite a few years and I just love it. I didn't look at the link you posted to see what kind it is, but my table has a tether so that I can set it to not go completely upside down if I don't want to. It's amazing the relief I can get just by hanging at a slight decline.

I also like to rock up and down. The swinging action is supposedly good for the lymphatic system. I don't know if it really is or not, but it sure is fun and it feels great on my back.

My mom has an inversion table that I have used with great results, not just for my back, but also for my hips, which I injured several years ago. It also has the tether to keep it from turning you completely upside down. She uses it frequently for her bad back, and says that she can hang for as little as 10-15 seconds and start feeling the relief.

I also used one years ago and got great relief for my hips and back Just don't go completely upside down if you are home alone as it can be hard to upright. Hope you get relief. Sam

I wonder can you rent one? If so, that would let you know if it would help, without paying a lot of money not knowing whether it would help or not.

I have been using one for about a year. I haven’t been to the chiropractor since. Completely upside down is a little overbearing, so about a minute is all I can handle. Just come up and rest, then go back down. Also, I usually strap some ankle high work boots on, as I have never thought I’d fall out of it, but this is a reassurance to me the my feet stay locked in the foot brackets.
Actually about a 45 deg. Is the most comfortable for me as I could almost take a nap at that position? 15 minutes there is a about equal to 1 minute full inversion. Fully inverted is a sure fire way to feel the effects, as I do it, I can feel my spine gently pop.

Thanks,
Scott

I bought one at Academy for 99.99 about three months ago and love it.
