slaughter house operators in North Texas

Anyone know of or use a reputable slaughter house for goats and sheep in the north Texas area? One where I take the stock in and they do a complete kill to package for the freezer service. Any price info appreciated also.

There is a place in Muenster that I heard is really good... I think they do sheep and goats. Sorry, I cannot remember the name of it!

There is one in Trenton, in Fannin County. I don't know that they specifically do sheep or goats but they did my pigs and I was happy with them.
Don't remember the name of the place though.

With how many Boer goats there are around the area, I would think that they probably have someone who slaughters them!

North Texas is pretty big. Can you narrow it down a bit?

Try Fischer's at Muenster, Tx-east of Gainesville about 20 miles. They have a slaughter house and grocery meat market there. They have great meat there.

Fischer's phone number is 1-800-259-7248, 1-940-759-4211. I know they have beef, don't know about sheep or goats.

North Texas

I was looking specifically aroung Trenton/Bonham area. Fischers has excellent products, and they certainly would be a first choice, based on their meats that I have tasted, and they produce some fine smoked cheese.

Thanks

Jacks

Thanks for the reference on Jacks', if you would PM me the number. I don't know much about or how to find anything in Trenton. Our place is N.E. off 121 toward Bonham. Trenton location and a recommendation would be perfect. Thanks
