Skid steer stump grinder

If you have experience using (or witnessing the use of) a skid steer mounted stump grinder I would appreciate your input on how effective you feel they are, especially about how much time it takes and how often you have to service it for new teeth/blades, etc. Thanks.

Several years ago I fell 7 or 8 large Pine for some people. These trees averaged 40" on the stump & were growing around their house. I cut the stumps off as close to ground level as I could. Then they had a guy with a stump grinder mounted on a Bobcat grind the stumps to about 12" below the surface. It took him less then a day. I thought it worked real well, after everything was cleaned up & smoothed over you could never had told those trees were ever there. He said the teeth lasted about 1 season.
