Alaska Move?

Anyone have household goods shipped to Alaska from the lower 48?
Looking for a cost effective way to move tools, guns and ammo. and items like bicycles

Any insight would be appreciated.

Many of these folks are homesteader types who have either made the move, or are making the move to Alaska. The wife of the duo who runs it is actually a member at HT. Great folks.

My son moved to Alaska a few months ago. I know one of the things he couldn't ship was ammunition. Guns yes, ammo no. Maybe this was just unique to the shipper he used?

Ammo is Haz Mat [explosive] but the MT weapon is not.
