Need help figuring out what woodstove I have

I have a wood stove "The Earth Stove", can't find any numbers anywhere on it. It is plumbed to heat water. I am going to sell it I think, but don't have any info on it. Tried Lennox, no reply yet from them (they bought out The Earth Stove). I have photo's-- if anyone knows these stoves, I'd appreciate any help!

http://woodheatstoves.com/earth-stov...1_171_234.html might help. It's got a lot of the Earth Stove User Manuals...they just show the front page, but if you can identify the stove from the picture perhaps it will help

Thanks Ann... I went to that website and looked around but did not see my model.
Surely there's a model number somewhere on the stove?? Does anyone know where to find it, other than the obvious places?

Go to www.hearth.com and visit the forums there - like here, an excellent group of people. I'm sure somebody there will be able to help out.

Let's see....Couple of places I've found model numbers on things that were a bit unusual....

inside the stove door.(I thought that was odd because the door can be replaced)
on the back under the chimney connection
on the side panel close up under the stove top lip

It's possible that it was a sticker type thing. metal, embossed or engraved. possibly "pinned" to an area somewhere.

I have an earth stove. It came with the house and the model number is on the back of the firebox. I don't know how much they sell for but I was able to google the model number and find a manual on the internet.

We have an Earth Stove, and of all the stoves for which they have online manuals, there wasn't one for OUR stove.

So, I'm betting you have the same exact one as we have. LOL!

I'm not much of a hand at it, but Nick is the resident expert.

If you have any questions about it, I'm sure he'd be glad to share what he knows.

PM me for an email addy.

I know these stoves Very Well, you can email me the pics by using the contact us link on our site WoodHeatStoves.com
since Lennox Purchased EarthStove, we know as much about the older models than most of the techs at lennox....

you already said you didn't see a match on the manual images on my site, i can probably figure out model with pictures. sometimes the parts list can help too, i have copies of Earthstove parts lists found here http://woodheatstoves.com/lennox-woo...st-p-4292.html

once we figure out model i maybe able to help with a manual!

Labels for Earthstoves were attatched to the back of the stove on a silver label. if it is gone, the stove falls under NFPA 211 codes for clearances and installation guidelines
