contracors/builders please help w/material list

Not to appear stupid but hoping someone has more know how then we do. I want to try and have a basement built, but do the dry in ourselves.
I have been told if we plan on capping it off to lay the floor just like we were planning on building up. Then you can tar it and put a rubber roof on it.
or you can do trusses and the metal roof and when ready to build up unscrew roof and reuse. How much we do will be determined by cost. I have a really good plan..that can be done in 3 stages.
stage 1.. 24x40 basement probably capped off and put rough plumbing in...maybe do that first floor floor.
stage 2 add the first floor walls . roof etc...just dried in 24x40
stage 3 add 30x30 pole(pier ) addition off the main floor. This will be the living room and screened in porch

I have searched hundreds of plans...and found this one. It is at htpp://www.orderhomeplans.com plan number PH1600 .The only real change is a basement under main part. The whole thing is supposed to be a pier house, but living in TN I wanted a basement of some sorts so changing things around a bit seems to be a good fit for our family. The end product will be really big..good for a family of 7 to 8 and even the first basement stage would be adequate for us to camp in and live in if we had to.
I have an estimate for the basement. What I need is a materials list est for the floor and the capped off roof. We would be using tin and have been told to do rafters 4:12 18 " oc. also an est of materials needed to do the walls and roof on main floor if we go that way.
I realise prices are so variable, but I imagine the same materials would be used in any area. If anyone feels kind enough to help us figure that would be awsome..or clue me in on how one would figure out what materials would be needed for varying stages. thanks.

Start at the big box building store, they will look at your plan and give you a price.
Be sure, actually go beyond sure the builder of the basement makes it square. I know it sounds elementary but I've seen them bulldozed over due to out of square poor workmanship.
