Bug pics

not to be outdone my karnins bird pics (beautiful by the way). I noticed this spider trapped in a flower pot yesterday. I thought: man that's a big one!!! Then I thought: what is wrong with it's back?

OMG!! You just keep your wolf spider down in your yard. I mean, I like them and all.. but that is just too much!
Great camera by the way. And you are going to get yelled at for saying 'bug pics' and not warning folks about a spider + 1,000.

That mama spider looks kinda ...grumpy...to me. Maybe she feels like her children are a burden to her? LOL.

Photos like this are the ONLY way to look at spiders up close, IMO. Cool pic.

I like spiders. Great photos, too.

But WHY did I click on somethign titled "bug pics" without steeling myself for the creepiness?!

Eeeeeewwww. Skin crawling... like those babies are all over me.... shudder shudder...

The camera is a compact Sony (6 megapixals) with the macro (little flower icon) turned on. Nothing special, just the ability to focus really close. I am surprised I have never seen the wolf spiders with babies before. I believe they only stick around for a few days so I guess it is a yearly event that would be easy to miss.
