Rip Off Report

Do yourself a favor and don't order anything from a company called Metro Market out of Brooklyn, NY. They don't ship the items you order, don't give refunds even though promised and bill you for an item months before they are scheduled to ship it. We got cuahgt with a KitchenAid Grain Mill through them. Fortunately it was paid for on a credit card and the billing can be challenged and the money EVENTUALLY refunded, especially since the company wouldn't ship until October.

They also use the name iKitchen, Homebrands and several others.

If you haven't yet try filing a complaint at http://www.ic3.gov

I never buy from any on-line company, that I have not used before, unless I do something like this first.

Google "company name" "scam" "complaints"

If they are a problem, Google will almost always show some useful information right away.

I googled "METRO MARKET STORES SCAM". More than enough negative information, to make me want to head on down the road, with my money.

Ther are plenty of bad companies out there with plenty of good one's.

Hope you get this issue settled.

Heres What I Do - Review Co

When I find something on line I would like to buy, I do a check on the company to see how others found their services. (review) You can also go to the BBB (Better Business Burea) and see if people have put in complaints about this company.

About 6 months ago my son wanted a specific GPS for his work. He asked me to find the cheapest place to buy it. A place in NY came up. It was so cheap and suppose to be next day ship. I did a review and ALL kinds of complaints. After they got your money they hounded you to buy related items to go with this item. They didn't answer their calls from you anymore, and it would be weeks and weeks before you might ever get the item. All of a sudden it is out of stock.......

on a side note: if you are still looking for a grain mill you may want to try grain mill for your kitchenaid - its the one I use.

(I purchased the standard mill with the kitchenaid adaptor so that I can still use it as a hand crank if i want to)
