Wind Power I think

Any ideas if this is a wind powered generator? We have been looking into putting a windmill on the farm, but I have never before now seen anything like this. Any ideas?

That's just bizarre. I can't imagine what else it would be, but boy, that's bulky for a wind generator.

Looks more like a piece of art work.

I agree it looks like art work . I would wait to see if this for real or a fluke. Being in Kansas you have an advantage of having constant wind. So i would go with the standard set up for generate electricity via wind .

No, this is in western NY. We have wind farms in the area and many people have their own wind turbines.
