I Know Why My Neighbors Have Apples

Now I know why my neighbors have apple trees and a few tart cherry trees. Even though my peach, plum, apricot and sweet cherry trees will live in my climate (KY) the late hard freezes make getting any fruit a real gamble. This is the first year for my pears and plums, we had lots of blooms this year. I got a few peaches last year, and a few tart cherries. But the chance of a hard freeze is still there . Guess I'll have to cross my fingers! Lucky for me, my neighbors are very generous. I can pick all the apples and cherries I want.Take care all, Mary.
