My Head hurt worse - Einstein puzzle

Below is a quiz written by Einstein last century. He said that 98% of the people in the world cannot solve the quiz. Are you among the other 2%?

Facts:

1. There are 5 houses in 5 different colors.
2. In each house lives a person with a different nationality.
3. These 5 owners drink a certain beverage, smoke a certain brand of cigar and keep a certain pet.
4. No owners have the same pet, smoke the same brand of cigar or drink the same drink.
5. The houses are in a row on the same street.

Hints:

1. The Brit lives in a red house.
2. The Swede keeps dogs as pets.
3. The Dane drinks tea.
4. The green house is on the left of the white house.
5. The green house owner drinks coffee.
6. The person who smokes Pall Mall rears birds.
7. The owner of the yellow house smokes Dunhill.
8. The man living in the house right in the centre drinks milk.
9. The Norwegian lives in the first house.
10. The man who smokes Blend lives next to the one who keeps cats.
11. The man who keeps horses lives next to the man who smokes Dunhills.
12. The owner who smokes Blue Master drinks beer.
13. The German smokes Prince.
14. The Norwegian lives next to the blue house.
15. The man who smokes Blend has a neighbour who drinks water.

The question is ... WHO KEEPS THE FISH?

No fair googling the answer.

Naw. The way I did it was to draw the houses and try to stuff things in the right houses. It took time, but it is do-able.

Well I thought I had it then the German and Dane didn't fit and I forgot why the Brit was drinking beer. Been a long day I'm going to join the Brit and forget about it for now.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh, Oh, Oh, Oh......
I figured it out!!!! Oh WOW!!!!!!

I drew 5 boxes that are the houses, drew spaces underneath for nationality, smokes, drinks, pets and filled in the blanks under the houses!! Took about 5 minutes!
I am not a logical person. I cannot believe I got this.

Ah- I've seen this one before!

People using the graph system ( or 5 little houses) you will get an answer, BUT it is not the anwer that Einstein is looking for. That guy is TRICKY

The first time I saw this was as a bonus problem from my freshman hs algebra teacher. I drew this wonderful graph and... that's all I'm going to tell you

Congats chickenista! I wonder if people who have good social skills have an advantage? This is the type of stuff that could be important to neighborly types, and it might just fall into place. I had a hard time thinking the Brit might drink anything but tea... hmmmm.

I'll give a clue... Its like a REALLY sneaky version of the same type of riddle as the "I was going to St. Ives, I met a man with 7 wives, each wife hade seven sacks.... How many were going to St. Ives?"

OH my. I've created a chickenista monster!

If you want to fail, try to make a map that requires more than five colors to differentiate adjacent countries. When I was in Junior High I was SURE I could do it.

You can.

I was uncomfortable with the typical reply, couldn't put my finger on why...

Now I see. Yes, my gut feeling, which I couldn't get out (so it doesn't count I get a zero...), is more likely the 2%.
