Cornfield Seagulls???

There are flocks of sea gulls stomping around out in our cornfields where the low spots are flooded. This is a spring thing it seems. They also go through here in great gobs every fall. I've seen several hundred in the Wabash river in the fall, but only for a couple days..
Who can tell me how far south they go to winter over? Are they like the Canadian geese and have gaggles that stay all winter?

They are getting the worms. When I plow or disc, the sea gulls are there by the dozens getting the worms.
Flying white rats.

I have seagulls in the corn field across from my house. There is a small lake behind the cornfield. Having been landlocked all my life, I like them.
