canvas soaker hoses at walmart

Has anyone seen or tried the soaker hoses at walmart there 50' long and made out of canvas. they very flat and im just wondering if they would work... there 16$ here in canada. would the canvas mold or anything?

We had some years ago. They lasted a looooong time. Yes, they will mold/mildew.

Mine did real good and held up well for many years.

Used them last year and they have a lifetime guarantee. If something goes wrong (other than the dog chewing them up - how do I know??) you simply call the company and they send you a new one. Even the dog damaged one was easily repaired with the repair hose parts. Just made 2 shorter drip hoses out of one.

thanks guys for your quick replys i think i will go grab half a dozen of those hoses based on your replys. I guess there actually 75' not 50' so even better.
