Fire ant bite relief

I was watching an episode of Dirty Jobs with the kids today and we watched him get eaten by the nasty little horrors and remembered a trick we discovered many years ago by complete and utter accident................

Apple cider vinegar!

Sloshed on and rubbed into the fresh sting/bite the pain goes away and they dont itch or blister the next day

When we go out for walks and picnics and the like I carry a wash cloth soaked in it in a zip lock baggy for fire ant bite first aid

I just thought I would pass the info along as I have been meaning to for AGES but never got around to it. Hope it helps

Cider vinegar also works for wasp stings. Baking soda for bees.
