I have not been around there since 1993. Growning up in that area ( lived down the mountain ) We used to say thats were all the pot grower lived LOL When ever you heard of a big bust that would be the area and if in one in our high school had some that is usally the area they got it from. I use to go up there in the summer because my girlfriend had a cabin up there. Then a guy I dated, his folks had a cabin up there. Come to think about it everyone I knew that use to stay up there just had cabins for the summer up there. I never knew anyone who lived up there full time. Its a very beautiful place. Up in the redwoods with the river running through it. As a kid we use to pan for gold in the river for fun but by the mid 80's every inch of that river had a claim on it and you couldn't pan anywhere. My girlfriends cabin was beautiful with a big pond out front that was cold as blue blazes even in the hight of the hot summer. But behind her cabin it look right out of Mar's because that was some of the cannon dredging they use to do up there for gold and its just waist land of hills and hills of gravel.
