Smile Gods Wonders

Here a photo of the storm rolling through. Then after the storm a BEAUTIFUL Rainbow from God up above. I have learned when we see a BEAUTIFUL Rainbow after a dangerous storm it means that God sent this rainbow to tell us the storms are over an no more to worry about. Location SoutWest Va..

This brings a story to my mind. When I was pregnant with my fifth child we had lost one at 12 weeks before this one. I was so worried because the last visit to the doctor they could not find a heartbeat so I was kind of afraid of what they might find. So, on the way to the doctor that morning I was praying that God would not let us lose this baby. Well, just as I turned on to the road to the doctors office the most beautiful rainbow appeared and I knew God had given me his promise. Our baby was fine and is now 10 years old.

Rainbows are one of my favorite things in God's creation.

Thats a good story. I love stories about people telling about God in their lives.Your story reminded me of when we lost a baby too. And when the next one was on the way and how careful and anxious we were right through the birth and then a healthy baby boy. But, God didn't send us a rainbow, after about twenty years we found out that, that little baby boy was God sending us a preacher to preach His word. I thank God for him everyday, and thank you for your heartwarming story. let me hush for eye git xcommunikated lol Eddie

Thanks for posting those beautiful pictures.

There are a couple verses in Genesis I really find encouraging and comforting (especially in these uncertain times).

Gen. 8:22 "While the earth remaineth, seedtime and harvest, and cold and heat, and summer and winter and day and night shall not cease."

Gen. 9:12-16 "And God said, This is the token of the covenant which I make between Me and you and every living creature that is with you, for perpetual generations. I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between Me and the earth.

And it shall come to pass, when I bring the cloud over the earth, that the bow shall be seen in the cloud: and I will remember My covenant, which is between Me and you and every living creature of all flesh; and the waters shall no more become a flood and destroy all flesh.

And the bow shall be in the cloud; and I will look upon it, that I may remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is upon the earth."

I love the rainbows. I was fighting through the process of buying my house, and was about to give up. I was really upset one evening, and walked out into the front yard of the place I was living, and looked up and saw a double rainbow. It was like God just wanted to let me know that He was in control. I felt amazing peace about the whole deal after that.

Eddie, I hope we will have one to preach the word as well. What a great story.
