Woodworking plans?

Sorry if this isn't in the right place, but I didn't know where else to put it.

Hubby came home with a 47" flat screen tv today, so now we need a corner stand for it. I'd really like to make one myself and was wondering if any of you might have plans for one that you'd be willing to share. If not, how about good books with instructions for beginners that you could recommend? I looked for plans on-line, but only found them for small stands...I suppose I could change the dimensions, but I was hoping that someone here might be able to help me out.

We have a compound mitre saw and some other woodworking tools. Hubby's dad has a planer and some other equipment that we can use if we need it.

Look fro plans for corner cupboards. Fine ones that have a top and a bottom. Then just build the bottom. Size it to fit the tv. Cut out a peice of cardboard that fits the corner. Set your TV on it and then mark the size you want.
