Outdoor Kitchens

I'm sure this may have been addressed on this site before. But if it has been, I missed it.

Hubby and I are considering building an outdoor kitchen of sorts. Nothing like the stainless-steel, beyond-beautiful, fancy-stone-worked ovens and grills with all the frills and trimmings and such. We're looking more at a simple fire-brick built grill and small oven on a covered patio.

I'd love to see what others have come up with in this line. Any photos of your outdoor kitchen?

Thanks,
doohap

I don't have one now, but I'm planning one when we move to our rural property. As an avid year-round griller, I will have a smoker, a Weber charcoal grill, and a gas grille. I plan a tallish covered area- maybe a gazebo, with a metal roof, and a cupola to vent the smoke. I'll have it separate from the house, so if I burn the thing down, the house won't be involved. I will definitely have a sink with running water which I can shut off during freezing weather, some kind of work table, and maybe a cheapie counter height fridge. The biggest thing I miss with my current set-up is not having a sink. Then you have to figure out how to open the door with marinade dripping from your hands, only to get inside and find that DW has the sink full of something! Oh yeah- comfortable seating, for when I'm 'working' in the kitchen.
