Free lumber for those near Tulsa

Where I work in Tulsa, they have these skids for bringing in many sheets of metal around 16ga ea. They are 3X4s, 4X4s, and 2X4s, or REAL oak. They cannot be nailed. They have to be drilled. Laceing them together are boards some of true 1in by 6/8in round 4/6ft long. The company is getting ready to have me crush these up in our crusher. There is easily 2 trailer/truck loads of them. I take them apart by sharpening a narrow wedge and useing a sledge to cut the nails. I almost always save the boards doing it this way. I can load you anytime between 6 in the morning and 2 in the afternoon useing my forklift. I have hauled 100s of them home. I have built a 10X30 chicken house, framed and boarded., framed up a 30sq hog/goat pen, framed a 26 X 56 rabbit shed. I have the frameing for the sides of my barn, and have stored about all I can store untill I start useing some. I also intend to rebuild my corn crib, if I plant corn this year. I intend to tear off the middle roof of my house this summer and replace it all with this lumber. Get with me

Why does Tulsa have to be so far away! That's a very generous offer!

If I had a good truck to pull a 16 foot trailer I'd be right over, but I don't.

Any chance of hauling a load over to Chupp's Auction at Choteau? Might make a bit of money on them.

That sounds like a great deal, wish i was near there.

Free wood is available in a lot of places, even if it's just firewood. Most shipping pallets have good hardwood parts. I work for a freight company and they have dumpsters full of wood every week that they throw away. Look around for freight companies in your area or behind any business that gets shipments on pallets. Ask first as some pallets are valuable to them.
