Is Pogo Adrift ?

Any body Know whatever happened to a ship called Pogo? As I recall It was a ship designed to be filled with water at one end and that end to sink, leaving the ship in a upright position. Then it was to drift with the oceans currents.
This has been a lot of years ago and I wonder what became of it ?

I remember reading about that ship that you were talking about; there was a Popular Science issue that had it pictured on the front cover and an article describing what it was designed to do. However, I never heard anything more about it........I'm guessing that funding for the project probably came up short and they went in other directions to find out more on the ocean's currents, etc.

The funding did go through for it, and it was built.
Do remember seeing a show on it back in the late 90s.

Gotta go by the correct name, R/P Flip

Never heard of it. Was it a cruise ship? Was it abandoned or caught in a storm and damage? Chris
