Cleaned heater -- now it doesn't heat!

We have two electric heaters just alike. They were really dusty and dirty, so Bryan took them apart and cleaned them. Now one doesn't work!!! It still blows, but it doesn't blow hot air, just room-temperature air.

Sounds like there's not a good electrical connection to the heating element or to the thermostat.

Electric space heaters (for a home, not a barn). You plug them into an electrical outlet in the wall.

They may be designed with an automatic "if tipped over" shut off, I'm thinking this isn't quite installed correctly or has been dislodged or bumped and that may be the problem. The unit I have has a separate switch inside that has to be setting level or no connection is made, just like the mercury switch in your old thermostats.
