But first.....!

I am having one of those days where I seem to have to take care of something else first, before I can get on with my project. We are putting an addition on the backside of the cabin that will be our pantry, laundry and spare closet and general works space. Its all up and dry, sided on the outside and doors and windows so now I am doing wiring and insulating inside getting ready for the boards to go on the walls. I went out this morning and got all my nedessarys together, but first..... I had to get the lights connected up so I could find my way around, then once I had the holes drilled for the wires and the boxes mounted I ran the wires, no real problem up to that point. Then I started with the pink stuff. Oh boy, I measure out the first piece tryed to cut it and sure nuff, the knive wouldnt cut butter, so its off to the shop for a sharpening, but first....... I have to find the sharpenin rock, someone has borrowed it again and didnt put it back where it belonged. I search around and finally located it in the wrong cabinet. Get my knife sharpened up and back to the cabin and start again, I get the first peice cut, and stuck up in place, grab the stapler and start stapleing, but first...... I have get more staples coz it runs out. I reload and sure nuff, now the thing is jammed and wont work. now I need to take that rascal apart and go to the tool drawer for the straight screw driver, nope, its not home either, back up the hill to the shop, find it and am now ready to repair said stapler, but first...... I have fix the tip on the screw driver where someone has chipped the corner off. I go over to the grinder only to find the it wont run now. Nothing serious but before I can continue I have get that silly thing working again, cleaned the brushes and its fine now. get my screwdriver tip reshaped, fix the stabler, get back to the cabin ready to get to work only to find a message on the answering machine, I will get that insulation up, I am sure, but first..... I gotta go to the bank and take care of some paperwork glitchs on a loan I took out a couple weeks ago, seems the attorney has found some problems with a title. But first...... I need a shower, I worked just enough with that pink fiberglass to be itchy all over! Do yall ever have them kinda days?

My days like that are just waking up to screaming, fighting kids, DD5 being late for bus and pouting over wearing pants she "doesn't like", then DS3 "playing" with DD1 which involves laying on her as she screams..... Then of course I can't find DD5 thermos for her lunch box, even though it is sitting in the dishwasher on the top rack right in front of me (DH LOVES pointing it out).... must be one of those days!!! LOL

YEA, I can relate to days like this. Remember this for when everything just sails right along. Sending good thoughts on the loan. Hand in there also I have a secret piece of old lugage from the dump I store tools that I have found and I keep it locked. Dh can not remember where his coffee cup is so forget what he did with the duct tape that was in his hand Only to latter find it on a bale of hay I keep the spares in the lugage I store it in the greenhouse this works.

Items in it
2 sizes of flat head and philips
duct tape
staples (got tired of the 40 plus mile drive for them)
measuring tape
a honing stone (we cut hay by hand)
string
batteries
flash light
spray foam
and second first aid
and 5 twenty dollar bills (emgency gas money)
I hate to drive. esp in the winter.
Good luck

Hmmmph. Definitely... and I constantly find myself moving one or two things to get to another. Need more space desperately!

Well things went better after I got back from town, no big issues on the loan, the lawyer only thought there was a problem, I dunno why they can find old leins against a property , but cant seem to locate the releases for them! Its all right there in the same court clerks office. I now have the back end of the room all wired up and insulated, ready to finish everything up this weekend, (I have school friday, yech!) maybe even get some of the boards up....... if I can find my skill saw, hammer, square, nails...............
