Stone House - My Hubby Found More Stuff

Ok no more one liners. I am sorry I didn't know you couldn't do that. Here is the story. Hubby found some more free stuff for our Stone House. Just because that's how he is. Some insulation, an electrical box, and some wood pallets he will use for scaffolding while we work on the Stone House. Some might call it just junk, but we can use it I'm sure. A little more than one line. I hope that's better?

Hey, Baba:

I don't usually follow links to blogs but I have been reading yours because I find it very interesting. I had an old homestead house at one time. My ex and I tried to remodel/restore it (we eventually gave up....too many issues) but, like with your stone house, it was a treasure trove of interesting finds.

So, I don't know what the problem was with posting a link to your blog and "one-liners," but I think I'll "bookmark" you.....just in case.

Thanks Janis. I am so glad you are enjoying reading it. We really are having such fun. We have always wanted an old home to restore ourselves, so this is really a dream come true for us.

as we are in the middle of a reno ourselves (this one being the third house reno we have done) have too question the fun part! never try renovating while living in the house you are working on! your house sounds like a real treasure!

I bet you find an old dump site on the property, full of bottles and the like!

I think we will find a dump site too. Usually where the old outhouse would have been. We think we may have found it already. But, it will have to wait for a later date before we explore it. Too much to do right now.

We used to find stuff along the creek bank every summer when the water went down. A few complete bottles, but mostly bits of broken china.
