Who do you trust for online news?

Is there any online source that just reports the news, just the facts . . . without giving it a spin to the left or right?

Thanks!

You usually can't find any like that Graystone. They are going to be biased one way or another. Even if it is outside of the left/right Pub/Dem ideas. It will be biased by who ever reports it.

Christian Science Monitor

I think that the Christian Science Monitor does a good job of giving facts. It reports both US & International.

It is NOT a relion based news source.

Hey.

Get your news from PBS...they are the best at being factual without a partisan slant.

I like the Drudge report for quick headlines (although probably biased one way or another), Lucianne.com (definitely conservative but lots of news articles get posted there). Breitbart is good, but too much reading for me. Otherwise Msn, Yahoo..whatever site I happen to be using.

I use to scan the headlines on Drudge but read few articles while there, the news felt slanted to the right IMO. Breitbart is good. Lucianne will be me new.

Thanks

I have my home page set at CNN World News. I find the stories are concise and pretty much factual. They don't place a deliberate spin on the news articles, but you can't say the same about the commentaries or pundit pieces.

I know a lot of posters here have a hate on for CNN, but I think that mostly comes from the TV sources as opposed to the on-line stuff.

Well I think that international news were giving a better analisys of the last presidential election as they did not have the need to give Ruppert Murdock point of view (or fight it !!!) so I did get most of my news from them.

France24 is a broadcast (and online) French TV channel in french, english and arab. Good report and no left right point of view. Paid by the french government (right wing now) but leaded by a left wing partisan

I've listened to them all.

and there's not one, not one, that does not have their own slant

there are some I trust much more than others, however

I think you'll tend to listen to the ones you identify with most

I'm assuming you're an adult, so by now your opinons are pretty well formed. If, however, you are in flux, as they say, listen to different ones, and see who most closely speaks truthfully.
One and one still make two.

No one source. I use google news to read stories from around the world. If you can read different languages you can read stories from about 60 different countries. After that I check the AP news for any stories google missed.

FYI, google news just links you to news stories from other sources they don't report anything themselves.
