Maybe he was talking about split bolts, which is how they join the triplex to the pigtails coming from your weatherhead.

I am sure you are probably right cfabe. Of course I should have know about split bolts and tirplex and pigtails and weatherhead? Lol . No really that does sound right. Thank you so much for explaining that to me. Now I can understand.
