Does this happen to anyone else too

I don't come to this forum as much as I used to because it is so frustrating. I see something interesting that I would really like to read and then I can't get the thread to open.

It is happening again. I am logged in, but that doesn't seem to matter. It is hit or miss on whether or not a thread will open. Why does this happen, and happen a lot?

Sometimes does the same thing to me...at times I just restart my computer. I think I save too many pictures and files and have the poor thing loaded down...and we are on slow dial-up as well.

I have noticed that the busiest threads are the ones that won't open for me at times. Usually, if I go to another thread then come back, I can open it. I wonder if it is because others are replying to the thread....but maybe that shouldn't matter. It happens most often to me between 8-10 in the morning and 6-8 in the evening.

Sometimes the site "goes down" briefly-maybe? I have the same problem. I figured it's God's way of telling me I'm here too much! LOL, not really.
But, yes, the most irritating for me is not being able to 'navigate' & open threads.

Yes, I thought it was just my computer. When I try to open certain threads it throws me to a search engine. Very frustrating. I have to completely get off homesteading today and then go back and sometimes that works. If not I have to log off the internet and log back on.

Have noticed this myself ever since I joined. Couple of times a day, I get a "server cannot be reached" message.

Maybe the web master will chime in.

I hit the refresh bottom and that usually takes care of it.

I can already be on Homesteading Today and just some of the post won't open. Hitting the reload button doesn't help. If I REALLY want to read the post I wind up having to click on the posters name then find all post by them and read it that way. Takes up WAY too much time.

Happens to me constantly. I usually just give up on that thread and come back to it the next day or so, and it will usually open for me then. I have no idea why it happens.
