Pressure Canner Sale

Hi Folks,

FYI, amazon.com is having a sale on their All American pressure canners. I've been meaning to get one forever so I can start putting my own food up, so I decided to bite the bullet and buy the best. I figure it will last me my lifetime. I picked up the 30 quart model.

Besides being on sale, if you choose the Bill Me Later option, there is another $10 off plus there's free shipping.

I'll probably be picking everyone's brains when I start using it!

I wonder what the catch is, 10 bucks off and free shipping for not paying for something sounds fishey, did you have to give them a credit card number?

Amazon has always had the free shipping on anything over $25.00. And i think the $10 off for "bill me later" is the same way. There's no catch. It's just business.

Well, that's the same price I paid about a month ago for mine. I also got free shipping, and it showed up in about 5 days, but it did ship from WI and I'm in SD.

I didn't do the "bill me later", I'm pretty sure that was actually applying for an Amazon Credit card, and I don't need any more credit cards.

seems like no shipping to Alaska or HI. It is such a bummer....The funny thing is that we can and do ship lots of large heavy frozen boxes of fish yea, we spend money to do so but so often we do not even have the option to pay more? ( I wanted the 41 pounder--32 pints of fish can in 90 min would have been so nice to do at home vs driving to someone else to use theirs.)
