Anyone tried the stone kit for the Corona Grain Mill?

Does anyone who has tried this have an opinion as to its usefulness?

I had access to an "AllGrain" motorized mill which was wonderful, but we recently moved to El Paso and I don't have access to it anymore. I do have a Corona already...should I save the $60 or so and wait till I can get a Country Living Mill?

I bought the stone kit for my Corona. I couldn't get the screws loose to take the steel plates off so I just used it as it. 15 years later, the stone plates are stillin the box and I still occasionally grind with the steel plates.

very interesting that i came across this, i just unpacked a corona mill i found in a closet. i am getting ready to google it and see how it works. the bits are tight and i might have to grease them to unloose them. will probably use olive oil.. i have attachments for it too. there are three different shafts, small medium and large i assume. there are three different mill "blades/stones": two stone mills that look similar in grade and one that is metal and had a decorative appearance; one spiral grade, paired with one going in the opposite direction. i am so stoked that i found this!! i've been wanting one for ages. i had one almost 30 years ago and had to walk away from it, due to moving away. anyway, i'm going to research this now..
