water well question

I have a nursery with several shallow wells that work great. These have a very slow drop in water table and to play it safe I had two 4 inch deep wells installed. They have water at 23 feet and plenty of it. Is there any way to use a centrifigal pump to pull from 23 feet? I've always heard 21 feet was all they could lift. this could save a bunch on the price of the pumps. Advise please.
