What size pressure canner?

Based on other discussions on HT, it sounds like the All-American canner is the best brand but what size would be best? My first thought was to get the largest (41 qt.) but I don't want it to get here and find out that it's bigger than my stove. So I thought I would put the question out to all you seasoned canners: If you were looking for one good all-around canner, what size would you choose? The sizes are 10qt., 15qt., 21qt., 25qt., 30qt., and 41qt.

If it's your only canner, 21 qt. It also depends on whether you'll use more pints or quarts. A 21 qt will let you stack pints where a 15 won't. I have no desire for a 941, but I only put up around 400 jars annually.

I like our 915, but wouldn't want to put anything heaver on our glass top. we do about 700 jars every yr.

I have a 915 (does 7 quarts) and while there have been a (very) few times I wished I had a 921, I'm generally happy with the 915. I can move it fully loaded, which is a plus. A 41 quart is so large that a 50 lb. second grader could take a bath in it...if s/he were particularly flexible, of course.

Another vote for the A.A. canner that holds 7 qts..
Can double up on the pint size jars.

How much produce do you have to do at once? I bought a canner that will do 14 pints at once. I have used it for the full 14 pints twice. So I am using more energy in heat that I need to, I think. If you always have a LOT of produce, then bigger is better. If you don't have a LOT - I would think smaller would be better use of your heating supply.
