Yea, we got one of those and the first thing DH asked was what we had sent. When I told him nothing he just deleted it.

It is scary how sneaky those people are getting

I have a UPS account. When they make an adjustment to shipment that is how they send notification - as an attachment to an e-mail. Cripe, now I can't even open them up.

Good Info

Never click on a link in an email, unless you are sure it good and legit.

I get responses to my Craigslist ad for egg cartons. The scumbags put links that look like they want to capture ebay account information.

Remember, you should always be able to get to the same web page manually, the the link points to and get the same information.

Stay safe out there.

Another scam that I have seen recently is a voice message on your answering machine asking you to call UPS Customer service at a number that is in the Carribean - and not UPS, but is similar to an 800 prefix. The message states that a package is being held for you, and for you to call them to arrange delivery. Of course the item is a check for $2.3 million (or some huge amount) and they need you to wire 'customs fees' before the package will be delivered.

I don't know of anyone who fell for this yet, but it is out there.

Personally, I find my computer virus gets to me twice as fast with FedEx than UPS, and it is completely undamaged. I would highly recommend Fedex for all of your computer virus delivery needs.
