They're at

it again. Two neighbors not far from where I am have squabbled over land boundaries for years and after a lot of lawyering finally had it surveyed, to the satisfaction of neither. Neighbor A. refused to participate in building a fence so B. did it himself.

A. was baling earlier this week and let 3 big round bales roll down a very, very steep incline and right through B.'s new fence.

Since the slope is too steep to traverse on a tractor to recover his bales A. is demanding access through B.'s place and across the cornfield to get his hay. B. told him he could have it this fall after the corn was picked, IF, he fixed the fence back exactly like it was, if he didn't fix the fence the hay would be burned.

Each is now threatening the other with more lawyering. I bet their attorneys just love these two cantankerous old fools. This could get interesting...............again!

Yeah isn't it fun. Must be amusement for them. Although the proposed fixing the fence and getting the hay after harvest sure seems reasonable to me. Stuff happens and they should try to get along instead of feeding the attorneys. JMO

Gotta wonder how A had three bales get away from him and through the fence. I think B made a reasonable offer given the circumstances.

If we're going to pick sides in the feud, I'm also with B. "A" does not sound like a fun neighbor to have.

These are the type problems that only time and funerals take care of.

THat was quite eloquent.

I have never seen anything like it, till I moved out into the country and started to hear about all the little petty feuds that go on between the locals.
It's kind of funny because the older the folks get the more cantankerous they are and the further from forgiveness they get. Sad funny.

It can get sad pretty quick, a feud exactly like this one last week in the next county over ended when party A shot party B dead. Now party A will be locked up or worse, and both families have lost someone. Why people can't try to get along is beyond me.
