Freezing Peaches

Is it possible to freeze peaches whole?
Like ,pull them of the tree and freeze them.

I did that last year...I ended up feeding them to the chickens. They were yucky to me, but the chickens loved them!

I wouldn't want to freeze them with a stone inside them. I usually scald them so the skin comes off easily then cut them in half and remove the pit. Put them in a freezer box, done.

If you have kids around, they can peal the skin for you while you cut or scald.
