Another Big Storm Coming To Texas

Looks like another tropical storm or hurricane is coming to visit Texas this week. This one probably will come in between Houston and Corpus and will not miss the rigs.

We need the rain - please drive the storm in as far as the Hill Country.

Boy do we need rain! The grass is crunchy, and leaves are falling from lack of liquid.
I am voting for the rain to make it to Northeast Texas! (by way of the Hill Country of course!)

I am with mamajohnson - bring in to Northeast/North Central Texas. Everything's crying for moisture aide. This high pressure over us is stagnating any and all chances for something to come our way.

But, I have become a pessimist, it will probably go straight west.

We're on the coast and desperately need the rain, too. I just hope it doesn't end up being too much rain, but the way it looks now on radar, there's not alot of rain in it. We'll see what develops tomorrow.

We've got some of the much needed rain here this evening. It looks like we may get a good soaking!

107 yesterday, 105 today. Yup we need rain in North Central Tx. I doubt a tropical depression (which is what Edwardo is now) will get anywhere close though.

Looks like the storm will be taking a track on a line from Houston to Midland/Odessa. It will pass just north of us here in Kerrville, Texas. Accuweather says we will get 1.17 inches of rain (??). I would be happy if it just parked itself over us for a couple of days.

Our daughter and her family in Houston are battening down for heavy rain and possible high winds. We live in Mineral Wells, just west of Ft. Worth. We're hoping for some rain. Mighty hot and dry here.

well, looks like it will totally miss Northeast Texas. The temp is 108 today (in the shade)
We did get a brief thunderstorm last night. Just enough to get the sand sticky.

"Miserable Wells"?? LOL.....Nahhhh!..We've heard that moniker, but we love it here. Right now, it's a beautiful sunny day. Just checked our thermometer at 5:30 PM. It's in the shade on the north side. 106 F. & Humidity is only 26%.
