you're looking at a region that's seen a lot of recreational development. I'd suggest getting on the mailing list for the monthly bulletin from the WV Dept of AG. You can find them on the web. They list farms and acreage in the classifieds. Subscribe to the newspapers in that area. If it's a daily, just get the Sunday edition. The newspapers in many counties are weeklies. Order the phone books for those areas from Verizon or, in some areas, Frontier. Contact every real estate agent listed in the phone book. Also contact the auctioneers. Sometimes, but not often, land is auctioned. There was a 200 acre farm that was auctioned near here recently. I wouldn't recommend my county as a good place to look. To many lookers because of the federal prison.
From what I know, I'd forget about Tucker County. If you're willing to move to the central part of state, look into Doddridge, Ritchie, Lewis, Barbour and Braxton Counties. Farther to the west is Upshur and Randolph counties which are closer to the original three you posted. You should be able to find something in those counties for a somewhat reasonable price.
You could also try contacting the Family Resource Network office in that county. They don't deal with real estate but the directors are usually tied into the community fabric enough to know the local gossip. FWIW, not every county has an FRN. You can find the FRNs on the web too.
Every county also has an economic development authority. They might be able to point you to someone.
Follow those steps and you'll have more places to look at than you probably have time.
