Peaches

How do I know when they are ready to pick?
They are mostly red on top and yellow/green on bottom.
I have been kind of shaking the branch lightly and taking what it gives me.

when they are slightly soft under light pressure of your finger tips. or, if you can't reach them, just pick them when they look ripe and if they're not, place them in the window for a few days and let them finish ripining.
