Is it too late to plant another batch of potatoes?

I live in NW PA. My first crop (six hills, actually) is doing okay. I have about a 4' x 5' space available. But I'm wondering if it's too late in the season to plant more potatoes?

We might have another 60-80 growing days left.
Any thoughts?
Stef

I always say that there is one way I *know* I will not get a crop.
That is if I do not plant.

While I would not risk a large investment planting acres of potatoes, for a small plot I say go for it!
If NW PA has some Lake Effect climate from the Great Lakes, that alone may keep temps warmer and push frost days out a few days further?

Small Potatoes beats no Potatoes.

Thanks for asking, Stef. I think I'll plant some more, too. I've already had a better crop than last year and having garden fresh potatoes for Thanksgiving will be a big hit!

You know, I was just wondering this myself! Might as well go for it!

Not sure about PA, but I just planted my 3rd crop of potatoes here in TX.
If you got potatoes with eyes on them, whats the harm?
