This is what I find when I go looking for a tractor. Any older piece of equipment that will suit my needs is beat to death and selling for waaaay more than it should be.
It's really difficult to spend 20 grand on used tractor that is old, used and not really everything you're looking for when you can buy a Chinese tractor form Northern Tool or the farm store with 40 HP, a front end loader and a couple of attachments for several thousand dollars less. The Jinma I looked at while a bit "rough" as far as paint and cosmetics went looked quite sturdy. The much more knowledgeable fellow I had with me, a tractor mechanic for about 40 years said it looked to be about the quality of a tractor built here in the 70s or so. A bit rough but quite ruggedly built. Yeah I'd like to have a new JD 5003 series or 5105 or NH or Kubota or something but wow the prices. Are they really THAT much better for regular utility work on the farm? end loader work, brush hogging, digging post holes, dragging smaller implements around etc?
