Hanging picture on brick wall

The wall is the large brick you see used outside...you can almost use them to plant flowers in. It's used inside to divide two businesses and make them soundproof (I guess, plus maybe SOME fire protection)

Need some advice as to hang a picture. The sticky stuff doesn't work. Has anyone tried something that does?

drill a hole and put a plastic insert in it then a screw you can always mortor it up later.

use a hammer drill and masonary bit.

Are you talking about concrete block (cinder block)? If so, go to your local hardware store. It will sell all sorts of concrete anchors and screws. Once you get the size you need for the picture, you'll have to drill an appropriate size hole...using a carbide bit....into the wall. I'd suggest picking a location in the mortar cement seam between the blocks. Insert the anchor into the hole, and then the anchor screw into the anchor. You can also purchase concrete screws that screw directly into a starter hole.

Tapcon screws may work in the mortar joint and in the brick if it is concrete and not cinder.
