You mean people actually buy them? I know people pay for ginseng but I didn't know they bought anything else. Good heavens my timber is slopping over with mayapples and goldenseal. Great, great, great grandmother was a "doctor" of sorts and around the old place there are all sorts of "medicinal" herbs growing wild. Maybe they're worth something too. Maybe I'm sitting on a goldmine and don't even know it.

you most likely are Quint All sorts of things czn be sol. Blue and Black cohosh, bloodroot, snakeroot, There are literally hundreds of herbs that are being bought and sold. Now some of them dont pay much. Some of them wouldnt be worth the effort to properly harvest and dry them. Always sell your goods properly and well dried. Ask the buyer how he wants it processed and they will pay difffrent prices from the fresh raw herb to a dry one. Wildcrafting is a great second income and lots of fun to do as well. I have good deal of luck selling live plants as well. I either gather seed and start that way or i will select some nice specimens from the wild.

PLEASE!!!! DO NOT OVER HARVEST!!! Always leave enough in the ground so that it can replenish itself. If you are collecting and the plant has seed, it is always good for a steward of the woods to plant these seeds to ensure a harvest for a future generation..or even yourself Have fun and be safe

Keep your powder dry
