Looking for a car, how can I get a specific type?

I am looking for a nicer car, a 2004 Acura TL. Instead of me pounding the pavement, can I ask a dealer to search for the car for me? Is this possible? Thanks Chris

yes, most will. my hubby runs a dealership and he does this quite a bit. if the car is local it is not a big deal. if the car has to be shipped in...there is a cost.

We do it everytime we need a different car. We just tell them what we want, the price range we want to pay and they call us when they find one for us.

Great! I have seen a number of cars I am interested in at different Acura dealerships on the internet, the nearest dealership is 2hrs away and I don't want to drive here and there to check them out if I can help it. Thanks again. Chris

How about Craigslist? You wouldn't be pounding the pavement but might have to "pound" the keyboard a little.

My 17-year-old son spends a lot of time on Craigslist looking at cars.

Type in auto search in your search engine. There are dozens of these sites. Here is one I tried.
