Oh man make sure you have a complete installed price with the correct components!! We put an Empyre 450 into two buildings using three pumps and four fan/coil units either into existing furnaces or as a seperate air handler. Total cost? We did the labout and excavating and it still cost 21k My brothers Empyre 250 to a single fan coil cost 12k we did all the labour. ensure the installer is using an insulated water proof underground pipe bedded in sand. We went lower than frost level despite assurances it would work 18 inches under the surface. I'm a licensed heating contractor and I just couldn't reconsile that idea with known heat loss out of an insulated pipe only rated to R5! They could be right but if you bury it down an extra 2 feet you won't be wrong either! Ask for references I've had to go in and correct several outdoor boiler installs that were set up so slip shod there wasn't any hope of getting heat out of the water efficiently!
