Big Storm - Lost Part Of New Roof

Really severe thunderstorms tonight. Have been building a porch roof around the house to shade the sun. Lost a 13 foot panel and 2 rafters in the last storm to come through. Hope the rest stays up through the night. I guess I need more Hurricane ties on the rafters.

wow your not that many miles from me. We were lucky not to get to much damage here. The wind must have started the parade here and headed your way.

Sorry to hear about your roof. I hope that it is an easy fix for you.

It was horribly windy at our place, too. I didn't venture out this morning to see if everything held up for us. I will check after work.

The weather got worse once it passed us. Salado got hit hard - again. Trees and debris are blocking the roads.

Isn't spring great!!!

We are having bad storms right now...they sent everyone home from chuch...tornado warning and some places have baseball size hail. We had some heavy rain, but it is going on bringing more damage to others.
