Will earthworms hurt my onions?

I was planting onions today and noticed lots of brown earthworms...will they hurt my onions and garlic..

no, and you are lucky to have a lot of earthworms, they are a gardener's best friend. Sounds like you must be doing things right to have a lot of worms.

The worms in my worm farm detest onions and garlic.
It's the last items to be consumed in my bins.

Can't see where a wild worm would have other prefferences.
