peach tree curl...

has anybody here successfully treated peach tree curl? I tried to "fix" the problem without using more spray than I already do, by picking off the leaves that were affected, but it's not working.

I've read up on peach tree curl and the causes for it. I think what happened is that DH scraped the tree last fall with the tractor bucket and skinned the bark. I've read that the spores, or whatever, fungas, enterd through cracks in the bark/trunk.

I'm going today to get some copper sulfate/lime spray, but from what I've read, nothing can be done to salvage this year.

would be interested in hearing others' stories on this problems, what you did and how it resolved?
thanks every so much.

My MIL's plum tree has leaves that are curled up. What is the cause? And what can we do to fix it? Not trying to steal this thread, just have the same issue and bumping it up. Help please. Thanks
