Red face Work Boots

I'm in need of a new pair. I've got a bad lower back wich prevents me from wearing any boot with a heel. I would prefer a good quality, long wearing boot, not a cheap-o WalMart type. I have never tried the "hiking" type boots, would that be a possible way to go? If any one knows of a good brand, or design please let me know. These would be used for the barn, and other chores, not to look pretty. Thanks for any help. Mike

Maybe a wedge boot will work for you.

I LOVE my Muckboots!!!!! Can't say enough good things about them. My husband loves his too...we have several hard core farmer friends and that is all they will wear. They are so easy to just step right into. They wash up great with a hose. And most important...they are the WARMEST boots I have ever worn in the winter...my toes NEVER get cold, even at 15 below zero with wool socks. And they don't get too hot either. I have worn them all day without a problem. This is the style I have in the mid cut http://www.muckbootsonline.com/Tack_...s_p/tckcls.htm
