Depending what kind of information or articles you are looking for. I love Mother Earth News and Hobby Farms. There is also Country Side and Backwoods Home magazine. There are magazines about raising goats, chickens, horses, etc. If you have a feed store or Tractor Supply near you, they always carry all these magazines.

I'm surprised. Most of ours do. Do you have any Barns and Nobels or Borders near by? These magazines are worth looking for, especially is you are getting into homesteading. Ask around, anyone who is into farming might know where you can get them.

I also forgot to mention, all these magazines have web sites that are worth checking out. This way you can check out the ones you might want to get. Backwoods Home sponsors this particular thread posting site.

Backwoods Home is one of the best there is. We have been subscribing to it for years (about 5 years or so,) and love it. We just recently tried Country Side and it seems like a very good mag. BackwoodsMan is definitely a good mag for those with the desire to learn the way to do things with what you have, I would say more "mountain man" style. The DW doesn't read that one, but I love reading it..

Hope that helps.

PS. Grit has been around for years I delivered it as a kid back in the late '60s, but wasn't aware that it became a homesteading style mag

Magazine list, not complete by any means.

In no particular order. Cabin, you might want to post these somewhere permanent for reference so we can add to the list.
